My house of usher in miniature captures the foreboding and dread of the Edgar Allen Poe short story. My interpretation is heavily influenced by Roger Corman's 1960 film, "The Fall of the House of Usher." But with my own take on it.

I always liked miniatures. And doll houses. The very first one I remember was my sister's (boys were not given doll houses, even if they wanted one). It was actually made of metal with bright 1950's contemporary stylings, plastic furniture, even a plastic television. Everything was plastic with poster paint colors. I liked rearranging the furniture to make it a happy place. You always have control over your miniatures.
